Corby's new council homes a 40-year first

Thirty new council homes in Corby, the first in the town for 40 years, have been officially opened as part of a new housing development.

Colyers Gardens comprises 146 homes in the Kingswood area of Corby.

The development is a partnership between private developers, the Homes and Communities Agency and the borough council.

The opening ceremony took place at 10:00 BST on the estate's new Olympic Square.
