Fire crews at waste site in Northamptonshire for three days

Crews are still damping down at a waste reprocessing and recycling site in Northamptonshire more than three days after a fire broke out.

At its height on Sunday, more than 100 firefighters tackled the flames at Blackbridge Farm near Burton Latimer.

The A6 nearby has reopened after being shut for more than 48 hours because smoke drifted on to the carriageway.

The fire was in an industrial building measuring 100m (328ft) by 60m (196ft), used to store clothing and plastics.
