A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 76-year-old in Northamptonshire.

Hungarian-born Karoly Varga, known locally as Charlie, was found at his home in Cannon Street, Wellingborough, on 30 July.

Police said they believed he was killed on 27 July and died from head injuries inflicted by a bladed weapon.

A 47-year-old man was arrested shortly before midday and is due to be questioned.
