Carmarthenshire lorry driver killed in collision with vehicle on A5
A lorry driver has been killed in a collision with a stationary heavy goods vehicle which was parked in a lay-by on the A5 in Northamptonshire.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday between Kilsby and the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.
The driver, who police said was from Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, Wales, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A diesel spillage at the scene has been cleared and the road is due to re-open.
