Firm denies Northampton waste plant odour charges

The owners of a Northamptonshire waste processing plant have denied failing to control the smell it gave off.

Think Environmental pleaded not guilty to failing to ensure emissions from Blackbridge Farm, in Burton Latimer, were free from odours.

The company also denies failing to minimise the smell from the plant.

The firm, which appeared at Kettering Magistrates Court to answer charges brought by the Environment Agency, could face a £50,000 fine if convicted.
