Appeal to two men over M1 death in Northampton

Police have urged two men who may have witnessed a fatal crash on the M1 near Northampton to come forward.

Michelle Constantinedes, 42, from Wootton, Northampton, was hit and killed by a lorry while walking in one of the lanes last Tuesday.

Thames Valley Police want to speak to two men who were seen on the bridge, off Tong Well Lane in Newport Pagnell, at the time of the incident.

One of the men was wearing a high-visibility jacket.

Police said the men were believed to be in their late-40s or early-50s.

Sgt Simon Hills, of Thames Valley Police, said: "These two men would have been directly over the scene at the time of the collision so it is likely that they may be able to provide valuable information to the investigation and I would urge them to get in touch."

An inquest has been opened and adjourned in Milton Keynes looking into Mrs Constantinedes' death.
