Fears of harm over missing Northampton man Artur Liana

Artur Liana Artur Liana was also picked up on CCTV around Northampton town centre

Police searching for a man missing since a night out in Northampton before Christmas say they believe he "may have come to harm".

Artur Liana, 32, was last seen outside Borjia nightclub in Castillian Street at about 01:35 GMT on 22 December.

Northamptonshire Police said they are "highly concerned" that there have been no further sightings.

Det Insp Louise Fleckney said it was "extremely out of character" for him to not contact his family over Christmas.

"We have carried out extensive searches around the town centre, which have not revealed anything, and we believe he may have come to harm," she said.

"If anyone who was in the area of Castillian Street and the town centre early on Saturday morning and thinks they may have seen Mr Liana, please call Northampton CID on 101."

Mr Liana is Polish and about 6ft 2in (1.88m), of medium build with short dark hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured suit jacket with a lighter coloured shirt with black shoes.
