Police are searching for a 32-year-old Polish man who has been missing from his home in Northampton for six days.

Artur Liana was last seen in the early hours of Saturday 22 December outside the Borjia nightclub in Castillian Street, Northampton.

Northamptonshire Police said he became separated from friends and there have been no further sightings of him.

Police said officers were "growing increasingly concerned" as the disappearance was "out of character".

Det Insp Louise Fleckney, who is leading the search, said: "We have carried out extensive searches around the town centre, which have not revealed anything, and we believe he may have come to harm.

"If anyone who was in the area of Castillian Street and the town centre early Saturday morning thinks they may have seen Mr Liana, please call Northampton Police."

He was wearing a smart, dark coloured suit jacket with a lighter coloured shirt, smart casual trousers in a lighter colour than the suit jacket, with black shoes.
