Man charged over Nottinghamshire Co-op robberies

A Nottingham man has been charged over six robberies at Co-op stores across Nottinghamshire.

Modou Musa Ndow, of Westwood Road in Sneinton, is already in custody for two other alleged attacks at shops in Lowdham and Long Eaton.

The 41-year-old is also charged with two counts of possessing a handgun to commit robbery and one count of actual bodily harm against a shop worker.

He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The alleged incidents took place between November 2009 and June 2010 and included stores in Sneinton, Sherwood and Radford.
