Stab victim found in Nottingham street

A 25-year-old man is in hospital with a stab wound after being found collapsed in a Nottingham street.

Police said the man was discovered near the former Jester Pub in Sneinton Dale on Monday afternoon.

A 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested nearby shortly after the stabbing, a Nottinghamshire police spokesman said.

The injured man is in a critical but stable condition at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Police have cordoned off the scene and are appealing for witnesses.
