Man stabbed in Nottingham city centre dispute
A 32-year-old man has undergone emergency surgery after being stabbed in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Sunday.
Police believe the victim was attacked at the junction of Friar Lane and Maid Marian Way following a dispute at Hounds Gate involving up to 10 people.
He is said to be in a stable condition at the Queen's Medical Centre.
Two men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested and were being questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Anyone who witnessed the attack should contact the Nottinghamshire force.
Officers are especially keen to know if those who fled the scene were seen doing so by car, taxi, bus or another form of transport.
