A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two armed robberies in Nottingham, police have said.

The man, who is from the Hyson Green area, was arrested at an address in Stansfield Street, Radford, earlier.

Vans were targeted making deliveries to Post Offices in Trowell Road, Wollaton, on 21 October and Beech Avenue, Sherwood Rise, on 27 October.

Post Office Ltd has offered a £25,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.

Earlier this month four men were arrested and then released on bail in connection with the incidents.
