Metal thieves threaten man in van in Fiskerton
Tools and copper piping have been stolen from a van in Nottinghamshire after thieves threatened the driver.
Three men approached the 32-year-old as he sat in a lay-by in Staythorpe Lane, Fiskerton, at about 2330 GMT on Friday and made him open the back of the van.
They then took copper piping, 12 water meter units, and two DeWalt yellow and black drills and drove off in a white Ford transit van with dented door.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The first robber is described as white, slim, about 5ft 10in tall, with short mousey-blond hair and distinctive dark eyebrows.
The second is described as white, of slim to medium build, with short dark ginger hair and the third is white, of slim to medium build, with short light brown or blond hair.
All three are described as being aged between 35 and 40.
