Fire crews tackle fire at former Nottingham care home

Two dozen firefighters have tackled a blaze at a former care home in Nottingham.

Roads were closed in Bulwell after a fire broke out at the site of the derelict building in Coventry Road at 1340 GMT.

Nearby residents were advised to keep their windows closed as a precaution against the smoke.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. The building was seriously damaged in the fire.
