Three men released on bail in Nottingham murder inquiry

Three men arrested in connection with the murder of a Nottingham man have been released on bail.

Steven Shaw, 32, of Basford, Nottingham, died of head wounds after being found at a property in Bestwood in the early hours of 31 March.

The men, aged 20, 24 and 32, were released from custody pending further inquiries.

A 31-year-old woman, who was assisting police with their inquiries, has been released without charge.

Mr Shaw was pronounced dead on arrival at the Queen's Medical Centre.

Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed a silver car in the Morrell Bank area of Bestwood at about 0230 BST on 31 March to contact them.
