Pedestrian killed in West Bridgford lorry crash named

An 82-year-old pedestrian who died after she was hit by a lorry in Nottingham has been identified.

Katy Holder was struck by the Ford transit truck on Boundary Road, at the junction with Willow Road, in West Bridgford, on Saturday morning.

Mrs Holder suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A section of Boundary Road was cordoned off for four hours to allow an investigation to take place.
