Crews tackle Sherwood flat fire

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have tackled a blaze at a flat in Nottingham.

Crews from West Bridgford, Arnold and Stockhill stations were called to the building on Mansfield Road, in Sherwood, at about 1610 BST.

A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said the fire broke out at a flat on the first floor of the three-storey building.

There were no reports of any injuries, the spokeswoman confirmed.
