Woman hurt in Nottingham Trent University robbery

A woman has been injured in a robbery at a campus building at Nottingham Trent University.

Police were called to the library on the Clifton campus at about 1800 BST on Sunday following reports of a man demanding cash from a staff member.

A female member of staff, who tried to stop the man, suffered a cut on the arm from a bladed weapon, thought to be a knife, police said.

The robber escaped with cash and several laptops.

Nottinghamshire Police has asked anyone with information about the robbery to contact them.
