Two men charged after Basford man's death

Two men have been charged with aggravated burglary by police investigating the death of a Nottingham man.

Steven Shaw, 32, from Basford, died from head wounds after being found on Morrell Bank, Bestwood, on 31 March.

Craig Shaw, 20, of St Pancras Way, Derby, was remanded in custody on Thursday, to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 2 June.

Daniel Miller, 24, of no fixed address, is due before magistrates on 24 May.

A 54-year-old man from Nottingham and a 30-year-old woman from Derby were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Both have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
