Arnold burglary ADHD medication 'could be fatal'

Police have warned that medication stolen during a house burglary in Nottingham could prove fatal if taken inappropriately.

The property on High Street, in Arnold, was targeted in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police said a quantity of Medikinet Methylphenidate tablets, which are used to treat ADHD, were taken.

The 30mg purple and grey capsules could cause hallucinations and lead to a heart attack if taken incorrectly.

Police have urged people to be cautious and are appealing for anyone with information about the robbery to contact them.
