Four Nottinghamshire men arrested over hate crime

Police have arrested four men in connection with racist graffiti that appeared in a Nottinghamshire town.

A member of the public reported finding the graffiti near Collington Way in West Bridgford on Thursday.

Christopher Payne, 25, from Hucknall, was charged on Sunday with causing racially or religiously aggravated alarm by words and criminal damage.

He will appear before Nottingham Magistrates on Monday. Three other men, aged 21, 31 and 19, remain in custody.
