Nottinghamshire Police officers in conduct inquiry

Two officers are being investigated in an internal conduct inquiry, Nottinghamshire Police has confirmed.

The officers, who have worked in the force's dog handling unit, have been moved from their normal sections while the inquiry is completed.

The force would not confirm details of the investigation, but a spokesman said it did not involve animal cruelty.

The fact they have been moved while the investigation is carried out is routine procedure, the police force added.
