A reward of up to £10,000 has been offered in connection with the shooting of a security guard in Nottinghamshire.

The man was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery outside the Tesco Express store in Nottingham Road, Eastwood, on 22 July.

Security firm G4S and Tesco are putting up the money for the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Police are looking for three black men in dark clothing who used a black Audi Quattro to flee the scene.

The guard had just finished putting cash into a cash machine at the store with a colleague when the attack happened.

The Audi Quattro - registration number KU09 ZDM - had been stolen in Arnold up to two days before the raid.

It was found shortly after the shooting and police want to hear from anyone who saw it in the area.
