Man charged over Nottingham charity bin theft

A man has been charged with the theft of items from a charity clothes bank in Nottingham.

Lee Vernon, of Thorneywood Rise, has been charged with stealing from the donation point at the Salvation Army in Brook Street.

The 40-year-old has been released on bail and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 18 August.

Mr Vernon was arrested by the police on Thursday. The incident took place on 3 May.
