Police appeal after Hucknall car arson attacks

Police want a witness to contact them after a series of arson attacks on cars in a Nottingham suburb.

Four cars were seriously damaged in the attacks in Hucknall between 11:00 BST on Saturday and 03:00 BST on Sunday.

The fires were started in Barbara Square, George Street, Annesley Road and Central Avenue.

A Nottinghamshire police spokesman said they want to speak to a witness who may have disturbed the arsonist on George Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft 8ins tall, and wearing a dark-coloured beanie-style hat, a dark coat and jogging bottoms.
