Rail services resume after signal failure in Nottingham

Rail services in Nottingham are returning to normal after a signal failure caused delays, Network Rail said.

East Midlands Trains warned passengers to expect delays of up to an hour for most of Thursday morning.

Replacement bus services were laid on from Nottingham railway station with services to London St Pancras diverted through Derby.

Network Rail said it had carried out a temporary repair to get trains moving.
