Nottinghamshire tractor crash victim named

A 39-year-old man who died following a road crash in Nottinghamshire has been named by police.

Craig Holland, from Cotgrave, died after his car collided with a tractor on Main Road in the town at 19:10 BST on Thursday.

Mr Holland suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham where he later died.

The road was closed while police carried out inquiries and was reopened by 05:40 BST on Saturday.

The driver of the tractor was not injured.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either of the vehicles before the crash.
