Jewellery stolen in Hucknall hammer raid
Jewellery worth thousands of pounds has been stolen in a robbery at a Nottinghamshire store.
The attacker, who is thought to have been carrying a hammer, went into the Stock and Cheque Exchange in High Street, Hucknall, on Wednesday.
He smashed a glass cabinet and took several items of jewellery including gold chains and rings.
No-one was injured during the robbery. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The offender drove off in a black Honda Civic in the direction of Watnall Road which was later recovered by police.
