Drink-drive arrest after Mansfield Woodhouse collision
A woman has been arrested for drink driving after a crash which involved a four-year-old girl.
The crash happened at the roundabout junction of Eather Avenue and Slant Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, on Thursday afternoon.
The woman, aged 42, was travelling in a Ford Mondeo, along with the four-year-old girl, when it collided with a van.
She was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and being drunk in charge of a child under seven.
Police said she was also arrested for failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
The 44-year-old van driver was taken to King's Mill Hospital and treated for whiplash injuries.
The girl was uninjured.
