Boy improving after Hucknall National school fight

A 13-year-old boy who was seriously injured during a fight at a Nottinghamshire school is said to be improving in hospital.

The pupil was seriously hurt during the fight in a year nine class at the National Church of England Academy in Hucknall on Thursday morning.

Nottinghamshire police said he remained stable but his condition was improving at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital.

A 13-year-old boy who was arrested over the fight has been released on bail.
