Woman killed in Selston tree crash named

Police have identified a woman who was killed when a car hit a tree in Nottinghamshire.

Vicki Margaret Dorman, 42, was travelling in a Subaru Impreza when it left the B6016 Langton Hollows in Selston at about 21:00 BST on Saturday.

Ms Dorman, from Underwood, died at the scene. A 35-year-old man, also in the vehicle, was taken to King's Mill Hospital with severe head injuries.

He was transferred to Queen's Medical Centre and was stable, police said.

Nottinghamshire Police said they wanted to trace a car thought to have been travelling with the pair from Selston towards Jacksdale.

Det Sgt James Greely said: "The occupants of this vehicle may have crucial information about the circumstances surrounding this crash."
