A road has reopened after a large-scale party in Nottinghamshire woodland.

Nottinghamshire Police said about 200 people had been dancing at the all night party in woodland off the A611 Annesley bypass.

Officers said the event was organised with the consent of the landowner but part of the bypass had to be closed because of cars parked along the road.

A police spokeswoman said both lanes of the Annesley bypass had now been reopened.
