Two charged over theft of Calverton horses
Two men have been charged over the theft of six horses in Nottinghamshire, two of which had to be put down later.
The animals were taken from a field in Calverton on 9 July, but police traced them after one was advertised for sale.
When they were found in East Bridgford two of the horses were so ill they had to be put to sleep.
The suspects, one charged with theft and the other with possessing criminal property, are due to appear in court in January.
