Man denies sex assaults on Bassetlaw Hospital patients

A former healthcare assistant has denied sexually assaulting three elderly women in his care at a Nottinghamshire hospital.

Matthew Shah, 23, of Savile Street, Retford, pleaded not guilty to the charges at Nottingham Crown Court.

He is accused of sexually assaulting three women, aged 64, 84 and 88, at Worksop's Bassetlaw Hospital in 2010.

He was remanded on bail to appear for trial at Nottingham Crown Court on 16 April.
