Cyclist dies in hospital 11 days after Colwick crash

A 14-year-old cyclist has died in hospital 11 days after being involved in a crash with a car in Nottinghamshire.

Josh Dale was injured in a collision with a blue Ford Focus in Colwick at about 07:50 GMT on 13 January.

After the crash at the junction of the Colwick Loop Road and Mile End Road, Josh was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

He died on Tuesday morning, Nottinghamshire Police said.

Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
