Boy arrested over Forest Rec sexual assault

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a woman in a Nottingham park.

The woman was walking through the Forest Recreation Ground at 20:30 GMT on 9 February when she was attacked.

The 19-year-old woman managed to struggle free and was helped by a passing man walking his dog.

The teenage boy was questioned and has been released on bail, pending further inquiries. Police have appealed for witnesses.

Det Insp Louise Jordan said: "We are especially keen to speak with the man walking his dog who helped the victim escape her attacker.

"If this was you, please call us."
