Further arrest over Hyson Green shooting

Another person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in a Nottingham street.

Shots were fired at a car containing three men in Gregory Boulevard on Monday. Police said there was no evidence to suggest anyone was injured.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at Oxclose Lane police station on Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police have been given more time to question another 21-year-old man who was arrested on Friday.

He was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 32-year-old man arrested in Leicester, on Friday, for assisting an offender remains in custody.

A 21-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of the same offence has been bailed pending further inquiries.

A 31-year-old man arrested on Monday was released without charge the following day.

Officers have been carrying out high visibility patrols and Nottinghamshire Police said this would continue over the weekend.
