Three charged over Lady Bay post office raid

Three people have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a West Bridgford post office.

Police said two men robbed cash from the shop on Trent Boulevard in Lady Bay on Wednesday, armed with a handgun.

Jordan Murray, 19, of Gayhurst Road, Basford has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Nathanial Simpson, 26 and Kaleisha Staff, 26, both of Pavior Road, Bestwood, were charged with a drugs offence and possession of ammunition.

Another man, 24, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Mr Murray was due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Mr Simpson and Ms Staff were due before Nottingham magistrates, also on Saturday.
