Danny Parekh death: Teenage murder suspect remanded

A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found stabbed in a Nottingham park.

Danny Parekh, 21, died in hospital from a stab wound to the leg after he was found in Old Basford on 8 July.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the third person to be charged in connection with Mr Parekh's death.

He has been remanded into local authority care to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday.

Joshua Davey, 21, of no fixed address, is also charged with murder.

He was detained in Malaga under a European Arrest Warrant in July and extradited to the UK.

Julian Davey, 22, of Camomile Close, Bulwell, has been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the inquiry.

Two other men, aged 23 and 30, arrested in connection with the inquiry remain on bail.
