Nottingham man charged over father's fatal stabbing
Police in Nottingham have begun a murder inquiry after a man found stabbed at a house died in hospital.
Officers found Giuseppe Difina, 68, in a house on Cliff Road in Carlton at 22:25 BST on 10 September.
He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre but died on 13 September.
Mr Difina's son, Vito Difina, 40, of Cavendish Road, Carlton, was charged with GBH and remanded into custody on 12 September. He is due at Nottingham Crown Court on 26 September.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said the results of a post-mortem examination showed Mr Difina died as a result of being stabbed.
