Kevin Kennedy murder: Police search landfill for body parts

A Nottinghamshire landfill site is to be searched in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found missing his head and arms.

Kevin Kennedy, 50, was found on land between Rossington Road and Burrows Court in Sneinton on 8 August.

The search in Newark is due to be carried out over the next four weeks.

Tara Swift, 40, of West Street, Leicester and Peter Healy, 50, of Lord Nelson Street, Sneinton have been charged with his murder.

Mr Healy has also been charged with actual bodily harm and theft.

Police said they wanted to speak to anyone who believed they may have found body parts or had any information.
