Moorgreen man, 80, handcuffed by 'cannabis' group

An 80-year-old man and his daughter were attacked by a group of men believed to be looking for cannabis plants.

Officers said four men forced their way into a house in Nottinghamshire at about 21:00 GMT on Friday.

The elderly man was handcuffed as the group searched the house in Moorgreen and the woman who answered the door was struck over the head, police said.

The men were described as being white and in their early 20s to mid 30s.

Police asked for anyone with any information about the attack to contact them.
