Nottinghamshire man dies after being hit by car
A 32-year-old Nottinghamshire man has died after being hit by a car while crossing the road.
Adam Falowski was crossing the road at St Peter's Way in Mansfield when he was struck by a grey Vauxhall Corsa.
He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham but later died from his injuries. The driver suffered minor injuries.
Police have asked anyone who may have seen what happened, at about 15:20 GMT on Sunday, to contact them.
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has since been released on bail.
Nottinghamshire Police's Det Sgt James Greely added: "We are particularly keen to speak to anyone that saw the grey Vauxhall Corsa, and the manner in which it was being driven, prior to the collision.
"We believe the car may have travelled along the A60 southbound towards St Peter's Way."
