Mansfield street attack: Two men stabbed

Two men have been treated for stab wounds after an attack in a Nottinghamshire town.

Two men, who were both Polish and in their 30s, were injured in Derby Street, Mansfield, at about 15:45 BST on Saturday.

They were taken to King's Mill Hospital for treatment for their injuries which, were not thought to be life-threatening.

One man has since been discharged and one remains in hospital.

Nottinghamshire Police said forensic examinations had been carried out at the scene and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
