Boy hit by car in Carlton dies in hospital
A 16-year-old boy who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car has died in hospital.
Raqeem Khan, from Carlton, Nottingham, was left in a critical condition following the crash in Valley Road, Carlton, on Tuesday.
The teenager was taken to the city's Queen's Medical Centre, where he died on Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident.
He was released on bail pending further inquires.
Nottinghamshire Police asked anyone with information to contact them.
