Man guilty of child sex offences

A 50-year-old man has been found guilty of four counts of sexual offences against a child.

Terence Phillips, from Wantage, Oxfordshire, but who now lives in Pembrokeshire, Wales, was arrested in June last year and charged in December.

Phillips, of London Road, Pembroke, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday.

Phillips has been bailed to appear before the same court on 27 August for sentencing.

He was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a child under-13, one count of gross indecency with a child and one count of attempted rape on a child under-13.
