Warning over rural car break-ins in south Oxfordshire
Cars parked in beauty spots and rural car parks in south Oxfordshire are being targeted by thieves, police have warned.
Thames Valley Police said 15 cars had been broken into in recent weeks.
Most were in Thame or Wallington and near junction six of the M40 at Lewknor.
On Friday at about midnight, two cars were broken into at the Lambert Arms in London Road.
Other cars have been targeted at the Belfry Hotel on the A40 at Milton Common, the car park on Christmas Common and a lay-by on the B4009 used by commuters travelling by bus to London.
In each incident, windows were smashed and items were stolen, including laptops, tools and mobile phones.
