Driver killed in M40 crash in Oxfordshire

A man has died in a crash that closed the southbound carriageway of the M40 in Oxfordshire.

The victim was driving a van that was in collision with a mobile crane on Saturday, between the junctions for Watlington and Stokenchurch.

Traffic was diverted off the motorway at junction six, to rejoin at five.

Thames Valley Police closed the carriageway for several hours while officers completed their investigation and recovery work.
