Passenger hurt by brick thrown through taxi window

A woman passenger was hurt when a brick was thrown through the window of a taxi in Oxfordshire.

The Volkswagen Passatt was travelling along New Road towards Oxford city centre when the brick smashed through the rear driver's side window.

It caused extensive damage to the vehicle and left the passenger, a woman in her 20s, with several bruises to her chest. The driver was unhurt.

Police appealed for any witnesses to the incident early on Saturday morning.
