Three men hurt in Henley broken bottle attack

Three men had to be taken to hospital when they were attacked with a broken bottle in Oxfordshire.

The men, in their early 20s, were walking at Mill Meadow near Meadow Road in Henley-on-Thames on Friday when they were set upon by a group of three men.

One of the victims was knocked to the ground and repeatedly hit over the head with a broken bottle.

His friends tried to help but one was stabbed in the face and the other was hurt trying to defend himself.

All three required hospital treatment, including stitches, for non-life-threatening injuries.

The attackers are described as white men aged between 20 and 25 and were on bicycles.
